Comments: Boise is by far the best place to live. You have the nicest people and the best time a person can have. You can definitaly tell the difference between the people who were born in boise and who has moved there because there attitude and out look is totally different from one another. I joined the military and have traveled all over and I can say that the people in boise are by far the best people I have ever met. People view us as a little hick town but when they get there they are suprised about how "up to date" we are. Boise is the best place to live in my eyes and as soon as my time is up in the military I am moving my husband and family back up to boise and have my kids raised in the wonderful enviornment that I was raised in. Boise is far better than anywhere else I have lived.

Comments: Boise is one of the best places to live. Someone noted above that Boise has a lot of rude people, but being born and raised, I can tell you deep down Boise has the nicest... you will find your fair share of rude ones (mostly those who have moved from out of state... cough cough California) and have brought their ways. Most of us Idaho natives don't have a problem sharing our greatness, but don't bring your crappyness with you...after all isn't that part of the reason you are moving!? Get out and enjoy all that Boise has to offer.....as it is more then many places do...it just isn't always presented to you at your doorstep. Enjoy!

Comments: Idaho is a great place. Lots of sporting opportunities. The native Idahoans are very friendly people. It's the people from other states and countries who move there who can be rude. You can tell who they are because they pronounce Boise like BoyZee instead of the proper BoySee sound.

Comments: Watch out for stormy weather around evening. Prices of homes seem to have gone out of sight since a few years ago. Boise seems to have ALOT of rude folks around. In the afternoon traffic seems congested. Some buddies and I stopped in here a couple months back. For some real enjoyment, make a point of visiting Boise Basque Museum and Cultural Center. This is a great place.
