Comments: unless you have been to neskowin like I have been. Loving it no one will ever know. Me and my kids love it there, my ex motherinlaw took us there and showed us a time that was wonderful. I will always love her for it, a beach there so peaceful and fun it was great. You have to go there to know what I am talking about.

Comments: In 1985, myself and whoever I could con (everybody at that time thought Lincoln City was the real deal) wanted to adventure outside the box. We ended up in Neskowin around sunset and were just blown away. We all were wondering besides the natural beauty, what was the extremely pleasant difference compared to say, Lincoln City? Minimal wind!! Lincoln City is known for kite flying which is fine and dandy if that's what floats your boat but on this particular day and many future ones as well it was rather calm. Without those 25 MPH winds blowing, the extra provided heat minus wind chill made you actually go into the water. Myself and on average 10 folk we brought every 4th of July hated leaving. We would camp on the beach with tents and such (I don't know if that's still kosher) for the 4th and would leave thinking that was the best fireworks show ever and man I met some cool people. My friends and I went to Neskowin for the 4th for 15 years straight. Just go....you'll love it.

Comments: Neskowin is a very special place in all the world.Old growth forest meets the thundering Pacific Ocean.Miles of sand beaches,rivers,creeks,wild berries,storm watching,clean fresh air.Time stands still in Neskowin,no need to build any more than the current general store and the wonderful Hawk Creek Cafe,the art gallery,it's all you need.Rest,relax and reflect.I believe God vacations here!!!

Comments: Neskowin has a lot of cottages owned by families who have been in there for generations and don't really want more people to come. They have largely succeeded. Proposal Rock is the big thing in town.
